The sun sets as James Marquis, Pete’s younger brother, drives towards Kahnawake after work on Friday evening. Every Friday after work, Marquis and his fellow Mohawks leave straight for the reservation, driving for six or seven hours straight. After spending the weekend on the reservation, they leave around midnight on Sunday and drive back, arriving back in New York just in time for the start of the work week.
